Searching for a set of expired domain names could never be easier with FreshDrop. Once you have registered and set up each grid as desired, it is time to complete your first customized query.
To complete a search, begin by clicking on a desired marketplace in the Data Feed Grid at the top of the page. The chosen marketplace will appear highlighted in green in the Data Feed Grid as a visual indicator of your selection.
Then click on a desired filter in the Quick Filter Grid to make a selection and further refine your search results. Click on All in this grid if you prefer to have all found results shown based on the selected Data Feed Grid criteria. Currently chosen criteria will appear highlighted in green as a visual indicator of your selection.
Your search results will automatically appear on the Main Tab of the Results Grid, as shown below. Click on the Add Tab Button (+) to create a new tab and view a customized grid column order for the given search results.
The dots located at the top right of the Results Grid can be used to extend the grid columns, view the filter box, or view your watchlist. Click on a page number at the top of the Results Grid to view subsequent pages.
To change the number of results shown per page, click on the drop down box labeled Records per page and make a selection.
Click on another tab to see a different grid column layout in the Results Grid. The Basic Tab has been selected in this example.
You are now ready to use the EZ Search, Filter Box, and Watch List features to further refine supplied search results.
The EZ Search field located above the Result Grid allows you to enter a specific keyword and query the provided results based on this entry.
Type in the desired keyword and then click on the Search Button to view grid results based on the entry.
In the example below, a search has been performed with the keyword Legal and all domain names with this keyword are displayed in the Results Grid.
The Filter Box can be used to further narrow down your search after the basic criteria has been chosen. It is located to the right of the Results Grid and offers an abundance of options for modifying search results based on more specialized criteria.
The Filter Box consists of six specific sections, which can be expanded or closed by clicking on the +/- sign next to their name. Use the the buttons, drop down menus, and text entry fields to select specific criteria for filtering the provided search results in the Results Grid. In the example below, the Domain Criteria section has been expanded.
The Reset All Button reverts all fields to the default selection. Click on the Filter Button to update the items shown in the Results Grid after making your selections. You can also select certain criteria and save the settings for a later time by clicking on the Save Button.
To filter the given results, make selections within the Filter Box and then click on the Filter Button to update the Results Grid. In the example below, the Page Rank (PR) starting number is changed from 0 to 5.
The Results Grid will automatically update after clicking on the Filter Button, as shown below.
Criteria selected in the Filter Box may also be saved and applied to later query results. To save a search, make your criteria selections and then click on the Save Button. Enter a Name in the Save Filter Form and then click Save to complete the filter addition. Click on Cancel to exit the form without saving or click on the Delete Button (X) to remove the filter.
To use or delete a saved filter, close each section by clicking on the Minus (-) Button next to its name in the Filter Box or scroll to the bottom of the shown criteria. You will see a section titled Saved Filters at the bottom of the Filter Box. Click on the Plus (+) Button to expand this section and view currently saved filters, as shown below.
Click on the Filter Name to update the Results Grid based on the saved criteria or click on the X located on the right hand side of the Filter Name to delete it from the list.
The Watchlist can be used to monitor specific domain names found in your search results. To view this feature on the main page, click on the third circle located in the right corner at the top of the Results Grid.
Perform a Single Click on a domain name in the Results Grid to add it to the Watchlist. In the example below, the first and fourth domain names are added to the watchlist.
Domain name auctions ending within the next ten hours will be highlighted in green and any surpassing this timeframe will appear in blue, as shown below. Click on the (X) next to the domain name in this list to remove it from the Watchlist.
NOTE: Domain name auctions that have ended will be automatically removed from your watchlist.
Items shown in the Results Grid can be exported once you have chosen basic criteria and used the EZ Search or Filter Box to refine your results. Click on the Export Page Link located above the Results Grid to export your current query results.
The created export file will be saved in your download folder as a CSV. Browse to the Download Directory and then double click on the file to open it. It will be titled export.csv and contain a number (export1.csv) the second time it is saved. This number will increase for each consecutive export file creation.
